PRESENTATION OF THE CITI

Based in Yaounde between the CHU (University Hospital) and ENSP (Ecole Nationale Superieure Polytechnique), CITI is a support center for the appropriation of information technologies and communication by academic institutions in Cameroon.

It has different rooms open to the public for the courses and meetings but also a technological infrastructure to achieve its missions and Internet access via fiber optics.





MISSIONS

* Promote equal access to information technologies and communication and networking in higher education;
* To facilitate and ensure the securing of national universities in the scientific community;
* Strengthen and sustain the Interuniversity Telecommunication Network;
* Facilitate the production and development of teaching resources, information and electronic holdings;
* Support the improvement of the efficiency and effectiveness of the management of Institutions of Higher Education;
* To train experts able to support développemnt of Information Technologies and Communication in Higher Education;
* Explore and conduct any other activity that may contribute to the achievement of its primary mission;
